Job Summary: The Lady Medical Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health services at the MCHC. The position requires independent management of normal vaginal deliveries, early identification and management of obstetric complications, and timely referral of high-risk cases to higher-level health facilities, ensuring quality care for mothers and new borns in a remote setting.

- Understanding Policies: Ensure a deep understanding of internal/ external policies and procedures governing PMS operations and regularly monitor and assess compliance with internal / Donor policies in the province. - Develop and implement internal reporting systems to track compliance including timelines with organizational / donor policies. - Adherence to Donor Requirements: Ensure that project activities comply with the specific requirements outlined by donors. - Ensure the adherence to the Grant Agreement compliance specified in grant agreements. |

Job Specifications:
Full-time position based at MCHC Pattan.
On-call availability for emergency obstetric cases as per duty roster.
Safe accommodation and organizational support subject to Pak Mission Society policy.
Education:
- MBBS degree from a PMDC/PMC recognized institution.
- Valid PMC registration.
- Certification or training in EmONC / BEmONC will be an added advantage.
Work Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in maternal and new born health.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience in conducting independent normal deliveries.
Ability to manage obstetric complications and emergencies in low-resource settings.
Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in a remote and challenging area like Lower Kohistan.
Good communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity.
