2. General Position Summary

The HR Officer will be based at Ghizer office, GB and will be responsible for planning, designing, implementation and reporting of HR unit in Ghizer under the direct supervision of Project Manager. S/he will technically ensure the adherence to the standards of humanitarian work while performing role in timely manner. This role will be technically reporting to Base HR Office Peshawar.

 

3. Essential Job Function

Responsible for:

  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job description, managing the hiring process i.e. interviews, test, job offer, reference checks and orientation of new joiners.
  • Participate in the interview panel when and where required.
  • Draft offer letter, contract, and other HR correspondence and share for approval.
  • Distribute offer letter, contract and other HR correspondence to field staff; arrange their signing by staff, and ensure these are filed in relevant personnel files.
  • Ensure Job description signed from all staff and placed in relevant employees’ personnel files.
  • Provide the required Employees details to HR-Base for maintaining personnel file in Hard and as well as in the soft form.
  • Ensure that Base and CO HR Management are timely updated over any vacant position and raise the requisition for filling the positions.
  • Maintain and update data base and share with HR-Base and CO on regular basis.
  • Support to Finance Department in the preparation of payroll with supporting documents.
  • Respond employee's queries related to HR, payroll, Final settlements and Leaves.
  • Assist HR department in finalizing different periodic performance appraisals.
  • Responsible and ensure that all employees are marking their attendance on daily basis.
  • Process Leaves application of employees, keep up date the record, and share with HR-Base and CO on a regular basis or when required.
  • Support HR-CO in resolving conflicts, disciplinary, and employee grievances issues.
  • Ensure timely process of clearance and initiate the final settlements of leavers after clearance issue experience certificates by signing the document from HR-CO
  • Communicate timely addition/ deletion for health/ life insurance to HR-CO on regular basis.

 

This list is not limited; the employee may be required to perform any other task necessary and compatible with its functions.

 

 

4. REQUIREMENTS

 

 

 

 

Education:

Master in Business Administration/HR or any other related degree in Human Resource Management

 

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in NGO, Preferably INGO.

 

 

 

Languages:           

Good communication skills (both written and verbal);  English and urdu fluency in local language.

 

 

-        Knowledge:                        Good knowledge of HR and rolling out HR system,

 

 

 

     Supervisory Responsibility: No

     Accountability

  • Reports Directly To: Project Manager
  • Works Directly With: All staff
