Essential Responsibilities

Program Management and Technical Oversight

• Provide technical support and guidance in developing and revising operational and technical guidelines for both PPM and ECF components.
• Ensure regular capacity-building sessions for staff to strengthen their understanding of technical and operational guidelines.
• Lead the expansion of GP and private hospital networks, installation of GeneXpert machines, and ensure quality diagnostic services at PPM laboratories as per the GC7 scope.
• Facilitate and review monthly work plans for both interventions to ensure inclusion of critical activities and alignment with grant targets.
• Foster close collaboration with national and provincial TB control programs to ensure effective implementation.
• Participate in technical discussions and working groups convened by NTP, sharing insights, lessons learned, and challenges to enhance program quality.

Performance Review and Coordination

• Lead regular progress review meetings, conduct in-depth analysis of performance indicators, and guide teams in developing actionable plans for improvement.
• Manage and supervise the staff under PPM, ECF, and diagnostic components through weekly meetings, providing timely technical and operational support.
• Coordinate with SR Project Managers through monthly meetings to obtain field updates, address challenges, and ensure quality implementation.
• Oversee quality assurance of diagnostics and ensure adherence to guidelines and protocols across all components.
• Coordinate closely with program and technical staff for scale-up of the GeneXpert network in ECF hospitals.
• Supervise the CHTB, TPT, and TB–HIV Coordinator to ensure effective and quality implementation of related interventions.

Monitoring, Learning, and Reporting

• Present progress updates and key findings to the Director TB Program and seek strategic support where required.
• Hold regular meetings with the MEL department to review monitoring findings and lead timely corrective actions in coordination with the Advisor Coordination and Reporting.
• Contribute to donor reporting by providing timely and evidence-based inputs.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Jointly discuss and develop field visit plans, review and provide feedback on the field visit reports and make sure that all field-related challenges are addressed timely and appropriately

Operational and Financial Management

• Work closely with the finance team to analyze Budget versus Actuals (BvA) and ensure financial compliance and efficient resource utilization.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely procurement and distribution of cartridges, PPE, and other essential items.
• Conduct periodic field visits to assess implementation quality and provide on-site support to field teams.
• Engage regularly with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues with GeneXpert machines and ensure timely resolution.
