Position Objectives:

The Assistant Director Finance is responsible for supporting effective financial management of PRCS by overseeing budgeting, cash flow planning, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. The position ensures transparency, accountability, and efficient utilization of funds in line with organizational policies, donor requirements, and applicable laws.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

  1. Oversee cash flow management, taxation matters, and lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
  2. Prepare, review, and administer financial plans and budgets, monitor progress and recommend adjustments as required.
  3. Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to PRCS Management and the Managing Body.
  4. Coordinate closely with Legal and relevant stakeholders to ensure financial compliance across the organization.
  5. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely compliance with audit requirements.
  6. Represent PRCS in financial matters with donors, when required.
  7. Ensure all financial operations comply with applicable local laws, accounting standards, and PRCS financial procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper implementation and periodic updating of PRCS Finance policies and the Finance Manual.
  9. Supervise day‑to‑day financial operations to ensure smooth transactions and effective functioning of the Finance Department.
  10. Identify financial deficiencies and risks, report to the Secretary General, and propose mitigation and cost‑saving measures.
  11. Analyze financial trends and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
  12. Support and ensure successful digitalization of PRCS financial systems and processes.
  13. Develop Return on Investment (ROI) forecasting models for existing and future PRCS programs.
  14. Review financial reports for PRCS and donor‑funded grants.
  15. Ensure timely submission of donor financial reports in accordance with grant agreements and reporting calendars.
  16. Perform any other finance‑related duties assigned by the Secretary General or Chairperson.
  17. Any other tasks as assigned by the Management.

 

 Education.

MBA / Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized national or international institution.

 

 Experience.

Minimum 05 to 8 years of relevant overall finance experience in a reputable organization.

Experience working with humanitarian or development organizations will be an added advantage.

 

 Skills / Knowledge.

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

 

 Maximum age limit up to 40 years.

 Travelling:- As and when required.
