Job Purpose

The Field Facilitator will support the implementation of ECE classroom establishment activities in assigned districts by facilitating school-level coordination, field execution, monitoring support, and documentation, under the direct supervision of the Project Manager. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day progress, timely follow-ups, and accurate field reporting in line with the approved implementation plan.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary focal person at school level for day-to-day coordination with school administrations, head teachers, and ECE teachers.
  • Coordinate and support school readiness for assessments, inspections, vendor visits, and implementation activities.
  • Facilitate initial assessments and readiness checks in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Implementation Support
  • Execute field assignments and tasks as directed by the Project Manager in line with the approved implementation plan.
  • Support joint inspections and verification visits with E&SED, Hashoo Foundation teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow up on agreed action points, implementation schedules, and required documentation at school level.
  • Support monitoring of ECE classrooms to ensure material availability, approved layout compliance, and adherence to basic quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and promptly report missing, damaged, or sub-standard ECE materials and infrastructure issues.
  • Assist Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) teams during field visits, verifications, and validations.
  • Facilitate school-level handing-over and taking-over processes upon completion of activities.
  • Support collection of required signatures, official stamps, and school records for project documentation.
  • Assist in compiling and submitting assessment forms, monitoring checklists, handover/takeover records, and completion certificates, ensuring timely sharing of scanned documents.

 

 

 

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular daily and weekly field updates to the Project Manager, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
  • Share clear photographs, videos, and concise field observations to support monitoring, reporting, and communication.
  • Escalate implementation challenges, delays, or risks promptly to the Project Manager.
  • Provide timely feedback from schools and district offices to support informed project decision-making.
  • Field Presence & Professional Conduct
  • Remain deployed in assigned districts as per approved schedules and project requirements.
  • Support extended field deployments, including night halts, as required for effective implementation.
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and constructive engagement with government counterparts, school staff, and communities at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (14–16 years of education preferred)
  • Minimum 02–03 years of relevant field experience
  • Familiarity with government school systems is an asset
  • Local district knowledge will be preferred

Performance & Conduct Note

This is a delivery-focused role. Failure to follow instructions, meet timelines, or maintain professional conduct may result in termination of contract as per organizational policy.
